County staff recommended the board adopt Resolution 118-26 to authorize cooperation agreements between Clermont County and ten subjurisdictions, including the city of Milford and villages such as Batavia, Bethel, Moscow, New Richmond, Owensville, Williamsburg, Shiloh and Neville, to preserve the countys designation as an urban county for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program funding for fiscal years 2027–2029 administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Staff said the action is an administrative HUD requirement and “does not commit funding to any of these projects” but gives the jurisdictions the opportunity to apply for funding through the county. A motion to adopt the resolution was made, seconded and approved by roll call.
