DelDOT says summer data still being analyzed after Millsboro bypass opened

"So we're still, crunching through that data," he said. The chair asked whether DelDOT has noted any changes in truck routing; Peter said preliminary counts were shared previously and that DelDOT expects to provide a clearer overview after additional summer sampling.

Committee members asked DelDOT to consider queuing effects and to compare current patterns to historical counts. The committee agreed to provide a draft resolution and updated crash data for DelDOT to incorporate into its analysis so the department can quickly confirm whether the town’s submission contains the information needed for next steps.
