Board accepts finance committee recommendation on insurance bid, approves 2022–23 line of credit

Audra Brooks reviewed the district’s insurance bid, covering general liability, property, workers’ compensation, crime and cyber coverage. The finance committee recommended accepting the current bid and the board recorded a motion to accept that recommendation; the motion passed but the transcript does not include a roll-call tally.

Separately, the board approved a line of credit for the 2022–23 fiscal year on a motion from Corey Dassow, seconded by Dave Fleegel. The line of credit was approved as recommended by finance; the meeting record does not show the line amount. Administration and finance committee members are expected to manage implementation and report outcomes to the board.
