Zoning administrator approves 32 Poppy Lane activation after applicant scales back evening plans

Staff recommended approval of PLN240216 for 32 Poppy Lane with tree-protection and enhanced special-events conditions; the applicant told the hearing that the previously proposed 150-guest evening event was canceled and that evening dinners will be limited to 36 guests per night.

Applicant Dania Diamond said: "The evening event that we had originally scheduled for a 150 guests was canceled. So we now, the only dinners that we have are for a maximum of 36 guests on each of those evenings." Staff described parking and shuttle plans, the location of emergency assembly areas, and tree-protection measures for parking on neighboring parcels. The Zoning Administrator approved the permit as categorically exempt, limited the permit to one year, and required an amended emergency plan that clarifies when staff call 911 and that the plan be reviewed quickly by fire personnel before the events.
