Councilwoman Chris Carey says Randolph secured more than $7 million in grants to keep taxes low

Councilwoman Chris Carey told residents that the Randolph Township Council is focused on keeping municipal taxes low while maintaining services and that securing outside grant funding is a key strategy. "We are always looking for ways to lighten the tax burden," Carey said.

Carey cited recent grant revenue as evidence of that strategy, saying, "In fact, over the last 5 years, Randolph has brought in more than $7,000,000 in grant funding." She said those dollars have been used "for paving roads, building sidewalks, expanding trails, supporting health initiatives, and equipping our police department." The councilwoman said the township will "keep pursuing every available opportunity to stretch your tax dollars and serve Randolph."
