Commission approves City Centre sales-director job-spec update

The commission unanimously approved an update to the job specification for the City Centre sales director following a brief presentation and recognition of the City Centre's recent staff growth. "We had a motion by Kathy Wilson, and unanimously carried to upgrade to upgrade and update a job specification for the sales director," the clerk reported.

Ryan McMahon, introduced in the meeting as "executive director of the City Center," described staff increases at the City Centre and thanked commissioners for support. "We we're up around 20 people now," McMahon said, noting growth in sales and back‑office roles since 2016. The item was presented as a personnel classification housekeeping and carried without recorded opposition.
