District says Round 2 investments exceeded targets after $20M-plus funding

Dr. Fatima Fulmore presented the systemwide needs program Round 2 annual report and said the board invested more than $20,000,000 over three years to address priorities that span multiple schools. "Over this 3 year period, the board invested more than 20,000,000 in system wide needs priorities," Fulmore said, framing the program as focused on reach, utilization, implementation, and measurable outcomes rather than only dollars spent.

Fulmore explained Round 2 concentrated on a strong educator workforce and access to specialized supports, and that the program tracked 11 performance objectives, the majority of which were met. She acknowledged lessons learned — notably the need to define impact measures more clearly — and said those lessons will inform the priorities and design of Round 3.
