Commission updates enforcement cases: Pinto order withdrawn, Golden Brook continued, 26 Trask remediation progressing, Livingston EO issued

The commission reviewed a set of enforcement and compliance items. Staff reported Pinto Recycling had addressed immediate concerns at a riverfront lot and the panel voted to withdraw the enforcement order for Pinto. Golden Brook, the property owner at the same site, removed wrap material and installed erosion controls but will remain under review until seeded areas establish; the commission continued Golden Brook’s enforcement item to October.

Staff also reported progress at 26 Trask Road: the canopy that encroached on a neighbor’s parcel was removed, fill was taken out, and the disturbed area was stabilized with wattles and erosion blanket and seeded. In a separate matter the commission heard neighbor complaints about substantial fill and grade changes at 27 Livingston Street; staff recommended and the commission voted to issue an enforcement order requiring a wetland delineation, test pits under recent fill, and development of a remediation plan before any further work.
