Committee sets tentative bid timeline: advertise Aug. 3, council on Aug. 23, presentations possible Aug. 16–17

The chair said that if the RFQ is approved with the committee's revisions, the bid announcement would open on Aug. 3 and the city council meeting that will receive the committee's recommendation is scheduled for Aug. 23. Members agreed the next committee meeting is planned for Sept. 10 to finalize selections if needed, but if presentations are required the earliest dates would fall on Aug. 16–17 and the group must be prepared to hold presentations both morning and afternoon to accommodate several firms. Staff and members noted the 21-day posting window and discussed probable closing dates in late August depending on the exact advertisement day.
