Votes and actions at a glance: Ouachita Parish policy committee (policy updates forwarded to August board)

At its policy review meeting the Ouachita Parish School System committee took the following actions: approved revisions to Policy KF (use of school facilities), Policy DIC (capital assets threshold aligned to $10,000), Policy GBRIB (extended sick leave with a new 3-day eligibility and 5-day documentation requirement), and Policy IHC (class rankings/valedictorian criteria with removal of salutatorian and four-semester eligibility). All motions passed by voice vote with no opposition recorded in the transcript.
