JRD enters executive session to discuss potential property purchase under Ohio statute; no action taken

The Eastern Delaware County Joint Recreation District voted unanimously to enter executive session on July 30 "per the Ohio Revised Code section 121.22(G)(2) to consider the purchase of property for public purposes," the Chair read. The motion passed 5-0 and the board met in closed session with representatives from Posuty Solutions (named during the meeting as Ashley, Sofia, Peyton and Katie).

After the executive session the board reconvened in public, voted to return to open session, and announced that no action items resulted from the closed meeting. The board stated it did not anticipate taking any immediate votes following the executive session and that the session could be lengthy while staff and consultants conferred on the topic.
