Clark County accepts ambulance scheduler resignation, appoints interim and reassigns payroll duties

The Clark County Board of Commissioners accepted the resignation of Jeremy Wellnitz from his role as ambulance payroll/scheduler and approved interim scheduling and payroll arrangements on Dec. 29.

Chairman Wallace Knock moved to accept Wellnitz's resignation; the motion passed unanimously. The board then approved hiring Andrea Helkenn to perform ambulance scheduling on an interim basis with an additional $100 per month, and assigned payroll duties to Interim Ambulance Administrator Colleen Hohm. Commissioners recorded aye votes for each motion. The hires and assignment are administrative steps the board authorized to maintain ambulance operations and payroll continuity.

The minutes list Andrea Helkenn in the register-of-deeds salary section and record Colleen Hohm as Ambulance Administrator; the board authorized the temporary pay supplement and duty assignment at the meeting.
