Organizers of Exeter's upcoming charrette on the train-station area finalized logistics at a committee meeting, confirming stakeholder and public-session schedules, volunteer roles, catering and setup times.
The committee agreed the stakeholder session will run Friday, 1:00–2:30 p.m., with public listening sessions Friday evening and a public presentation at 3:00 p.m. Saturday. Committee members assigned check-in and greeter duties, planned Thursday setup from 10:30 a.m. to noon, and discussed volunteer coverage for registration and table facilitation.
"The 1st will be lunch, and that is to be provided by, by KC and Lexi's," said a committee member handling catering logistics, who also said receipts will be kept for reimbursement using the town credit card. The group identified Exeter Brewing for dinner, Ollie's for breakfast and Jersey Mike's for a final lunch.
Members also reviewed pickup and arrival details for the visiting design team: teams are expected to arrive about 9:30 a.m. to prepare nametags, and food pickup was scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Friday from Lexi's. Volunteers will be asked to meet earlier to set tables and signage.
The committee ended the item by confirming responsibilities and a short checklist for the Thursday setup so the school staff have clear instructions ahead of the charrette weekend.
