Monthly reports filed; city engineer and street staff give project updates

The Board of Public Works voted to place monthly reports on file. The Building Inspector (Poggle) was excused and members were directed to contact him with questions. City engineer Icky provided a brief project update: contractors are expected to start work on Kai Street and Taylor Street soon, curb and gutter replacements are scheduled, and milling for Taylor Street was noted with a follow-up start date.

Dustin reported on the Mark Trail project, saying crews were roughly "0.75 done" with the base work and that the city is pushing to complete billable sidewalk replacements in August so follow-up construction can proceed in September or October. The board set the next meeting for Wednesday, August 26 at 05:15 and heard no public comment before adjourning.
