Election board adds Buck Creek early vote center, leaves West Lafayette site to be announced

Elections staff told the board they will not change Election Day vote centers but are adding an early voting location at Buck Creek Community Church to serve the county’s northeast corner. Staff said Eastside Assembly of God will provide the Saturday early‑voting sessions required by statute when the fairgrounds are unavailable.

"We're adding Buck Creek Community Church, through the good offices of the Washington Township trustee," staff said, and emphasized that the West Lafayette long‑term early site is still to be determined because the host organization had not completed its internal approvals. The board approved the resolution to confirm vote centers and schedule early voting hours.

Staff also noted the plan schedules roughly 330 hours of early voting, consistent with past cycles, to give voters greater opportunity to cast ballots. Members discussed logistics for the West Lafayette site and thanked host organizations and university partners for support and Wi‑Fi coordination.
