Paula presents school‑closure preparedness flyer for Acton‑Agua Dulce Unified

Paula, a district staff member, presented a one‑page flyer titled "ACA and Agua Dulce USD school closure preparedness plan" and asked the committee for feedback after the Policy Committee convened at 4:02 p.m. The flyer was distributed as a PDF and committee members reviewed it on screen during the meeting.

"I did send you both you and doctor De Jesus, a PDF, 1 of the agenda and 2 of of you have a flyer called ACA and Agua Dulce USD school school closure preparedness plan," Paula said, describing the materials she shared. Committee members praised the flyer as clear and concise and asked that the final version be visible in the meeting video for the record.

A member asked that the flyer identify a clear contact and state who would issue closure notices. Paula said principals are expected to coordinate with the district and that she would add a line specifying that a notice would come from the superintendent or the student's school, and that families should expect official notices by 7:00 a.m. when applicable. Staff said they would correct a printing issue that had cut off a portion of the flyer and return an updated version for committee review.
