Greene County names Jeremy Kelly chief clerk; honors Jeffrey Marshall for 33 years of service

The Greene County Board of Commissioners on July 29 placed the appointment of Jeremy Kelly as Chief Clerk on the agenda and approved it by motion. The appointment is effective July 19, 2026; the motion was made by Commissioner McClure and seconded by Commissioner Blair Zimmerman with the vote recorded as "All in Favor."

The board also adopted a proclamation honoring Jeffrey Marshall for his 33-year career with Greene County and for 16 years of service as Chief Clerk. The proclamation was presented and approved by the same motion pattern (moved by Commissioner McClure, seconded by Commissioner Blair Zimmerman; vote "All in Favor").
