Commissioners place HUD MOUs, human services assurances and consultant contract on agenda

The Greene County commissioners considered several human services items tied to HUD grants and program administration. Memoranda of Understanding with Connect were placed on the agenda for supportive housing (PA0538L3E012510, 6/1/2026–5/31/2027), Shelter Plus Care (PA0651L3E012513, 10/1/2026–9/30/2027), and Rapid Rehousing (PA0780L3E012510, 10/1/2026–9/30/2027). Commissioners also approved the FY2026-2027 Human Services Block Grant Assurance of Compliance and associated federal procurement and lobbying certification documents required for the public transportation grant application.

A consultant agreement for FY26/27 with Keli Reams not to exceed $7,500 was placed on the agenda and approved by motion. A cost reimbursement agreement with the Southwestern Pennsylvania Area Agency on Aging for senior transportation services and a Certification of Local Government Approval for Greene County Human Services to receive Emergency Solution Funds were also approved. All motions moved by Commissioner McClure and seconded by Commissioner Blair Zimmerman were recorded as 'All in Favor.'
