Bay Village Council affirms committee chairs and board representatives

The Clerk of Council read President Dwight A. Clark’s appointments to council committees and the council voted to confirm them. Committees and chairs announced included: Environment/Safety/Community Services (chair: Sara Byrnes Maier); Finance and Claims (chair: Peter J. Winzig); Planning, Zoning, Public Buildings and Grounds (chair: Michael Greco); Public Improvements, Streets/Sewers/Drainage (chair: Lydia DeGeorge); Recreation and Park Improvements (chair: Dan Rettig); and Services, Utilities and Equipment (chair: Steve Swidarski). The motion to confirm the committee appointments was made by Peter J. Winzig and carried 6-0.

Council representatives to external boards and commissions were also named and confirmed: Michael Greco to the Planning Commission; Lydia DeGeorge to the Community Services Advisory Board; Dan Rettig to the Parks and Recreation Commission; Tom Bechtel and Jim Strunk to the Income Tax Board of Review; Steve Swidarski to the Architectural Board of Review; and Sara Byrnes Maier to the Tree Commission. These confirmations were recorded as motions carried 6-0.
