Bay Village approves mayor’s department head picks, including law and finance directors

President Clark announced Mayor Paul A. Koomar’s nominations for department head positions and the council moved to confirm them. Motions (recorded as made by Peter J. Winzig) to confirm Mark E. Barbour as Director of Law and Jim Milton as Director of Finance each carried 6-0. The council also confirmed Mary Kay Costello as Director of Public Service and Properties; Dan Enovitch as Director of Parks and Recreation; Kathy Messeri as Director of Community Services; Jennifer Demaline as Director of Human Resources and IT Operations; and Eric Tuck-Macalla as Director of Building.

Each nomination was confirmed by unanimous vote as recorded in the minutes. No debate or formal amendments to the nominations were recorded; the minutes show each motion carried 6-0 and the meeting was adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
