Council confirms committee chairs and membership for new term

Clerk Joan Kemper read the council committee assignments for the new term, naming chairs and members across standing committees. The Environment, Safety, and Community Services Committee will be chaired by Sarah Burns Meyer; Finance and Claims by Peter J. Winsig; Planning, Zoning, Public Buildings & Grounds by Michael Greco; among others.

Following the reading, Councilmember Peter J. Winsig moved to confirm the appointments recommended by the president of council and the council approved the motion by voice vote with no recorded opposition. The confirmations formalize responsibilities for committee oversight during the term.
