Council confirms mayor’s department director nominees in voice votes

At the organizational meeting, councilmember Peter J. Winsig read the list of department directors nominated by Mayor Paul A. Kumar and moved their confirmations. The council individually confirmed nominees including Mark E. Barber as Director of Law; Jim Milton as Director of Finance; Mary Kay Costello as Director of Public Service and Properties; Dan Henovich as Director of Parks and Recreation; Kathy Messeri as Director of Community Services; Jennifer Demelai as Director of Human Resources and IT Operations; and Eric Tuck McCalla as Director of Building.
