SILC members ask DHS to clarify a new request for Innovation & Expansion financial detail

During the Feb. 4 meeting, Executive Director Shelly Richardson raised concerns about a recent Department of Human Services request for financial documentation related to Innovation and Expansion (I&E) funding. Richardson said the DHS request seeks more detailed allocation information than has historically been required, despite the funding being included as a lump sum in the annual vendor contract, and asked DHS to clarify scope, timing, and whether the funding covers one year or the three‑year SPIL period.
