Electronic sign outside post office may miss Mural Fest due to permitting delays

An attendee updated the committee that installation of the planned electronic sign outside the post office is behind schedule because of procedural and permitting requirements. They said there remains a chance the sign could be operational before Mural Fest, but the timeline is tight and uncertain.

Committee members noted the usual MMB message boards that advertise the event will not be available this year because they are needed for town priorities including fire response and a road closure. The committee said they will use available channels to promote the festival and will check the sign’s status before finalizing outreach plans.
