Quapaw Business Committee approves slate of resolutions including grants, charters and purchases

The Quapaw Nation Business Committee approved a series of resolutions on June 20 covering grant submissions, charter amendments, purchases and policy changes.

Notable approvals include Resolution 062026-A (authorize submission of a relevant grant), 062026-E (Kinship Navigator grant), 062026-O (Robert Wood Johnson grant), and 062026-Y (Health & Human Services funding application). The committee also approved charter amendments for the Quapaw Casino Authority (062026-G) and the Downstream Development Authority (062026-H), and multiple procurement requests including a blast freezer electrical upgrade (062026-F), a 2027 Ford Transit van (062026-Q), a tractor (062026-U) and a Vermeer hay mower (062026-V). Each approved resolution recorded 7 yes, 0 no, 0 vacant, 0 absent unless otherwise noted in the minutes.

The committee additionally adopted victim services policies (062026-T), an Energy Services Agreement (062026-X), and authorized use of trust-restricted land for S 22 Lot 2 and Lot 3 (062026-L and 062026-M).
