Public questions agenda addendum; chair explains packet color coding

During public comment, a member of the public told the board they could not find item 7.4 in the printed packet, saying, "I do not see a 7.4 on the blue page." The commenter pointed out the material appeared on a different-colored sheet and asked for clarification.

Chair Rasmussen explained that after the main agenda was posted the county posted two addendums that appear on different colored pages, apologized for the confusion and asked staff to check. The chair said the supplemental sheets caused the color confusion and closed public comment on that point; the board then returned to consideration of the proposed contract and moved to a vote.

The exchange highlighted a public access issue for the printed agenda packet; staff said the addendums are included in the latest online agenda version.
