Commission to consider inviting Development Review Board for informational briefing

Chair introduced the Development Review Board (DRB) as a possible agenda topic and asked commissioners whether they wanted a DRB representative to attend for an informational briefing. Committee member (S2) moved the idea: “I would like at this time to, to just make a motion that we are we ask them to come here,” requesting background materials and a presentation so commissioners can weigh pros and cons.

Committee member (S3) urged caution about acting prematurely and suggested waiting until a fuller board can discuss the issue. Chair agreed it would be better to place DRB information on the next agenda and invite the DRB for a presentation so the commission can consider the matter collectively rather than in a small group.
