Board members agreed to hold first-round interviews on Aug. 4 and 5, with three candidates interviewed each night and a plan to vote on finalists shortly thereafter.
"Interviews 1st round interviews are on 4 and 5 with the vote happening on the 5th," President Maynard said as the board consolidated the schedule. The consultant noted the original timeline included Aug. 3–5 but the board adjusted to accommodate members' schedules.
The group also discussed an Aug. 10 stakeholders' meet-and-greet from 4:30–5:30 p.m., followed by finalist presentations in the evening, and the possibility of conducting the final vote on the 10th or the 11th depending on board comfort and member availability. Board members raised scheduling conflicts, including trial schedules and travel, and asked how absentee members would participate or delegate questions.
Board members emphasized minimizing disruption to school operations while balancing the need to complete the selection process on a tight timeline.
