Commissioners press staff on acreage, MND number and applicant name errors in packet

During staff questions, several commissioners called attention to inconsistencies between the staff report and on‑screen exhibits. One commissioner noted, “In the staff report, the annexation annexation is 83.61 acres. But on this map here on the screen, it says 86.40 acres.” Staff acknowledged the discrepancy, explaining that the project site is 83.61 acres while some annexation exhibit boundaries were shown as 86.4 acres for the annexation boundary and committed that the record reflected the corrected figures.

Commissioners also flagged a likely typographical error in the environmental document citation and an applicant name mismatch in the Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program (MMRP). Staff responded succinctly: “Oh, for the MND, it should be 73. So typo,” and confirmed the applicant on the application is L M Tulare, LLC, not the alternate LLC name appearing in one exhibit. The staff corrections were made on the public record during the hearing; commissioners pressed for clarity about which figures and names would be corrected in the final transmittal to Council.
