Fr0ntrunner 2X early work to affect Davis County roads, irrigation; county told to expect short closures

UTA/UDOT project staff told the commission that some Davis County segments will see direct construction impacts during early work. Officials flagged the North Clearfield and Woods Cross sections and said irrigation work near Pages Lane could require a significant closure "about 2 months" to complete the necessary work under roadways.

Project staff said early work is scheduled to help coordinate with the I‑15 project and avoid simultaneous closures. "The goal is to not close more than one consecutive crossing at a time to allow for options to get traffic through," a presenter said. County planning staff and DFCM were identified as coordination partners; the presenters said they will provide advance messaging and community notifications to residents near rail work and quiet‑zone areas.
