Selectboard approves $2,300 emergency heating repair after inspection

The Isle La Motte Selectboard voted to approve $2,300 in immediate repairs to the town’s heating system after a recent inspection by CSI Heating identified multiple failing components. Selectboard Chair Peter Brzozowy told the board that CSI submitted a quote to replace a heating valve, a sensor and an actuator; Brzozowy moved to approve the expenditure and Cary Sandvig seconded the motion, which carried with all in favor.

The repairs were described as targeted replacements to restore functioning parts that had failed or were failing. The board recorded no dissent and agreed the work should proceed. The motion covered only the quoted parts; the board did not authorize broader replacement of the boiler at this time.
