Commission approves FY26 Community Corrections outcome reports for adult and juvenile plans

Commissioners accepted FY26 year-end outcome reports for both the adult and juvenile comprehensive Community Corrections plans and authorized the chairmans signature.

Angie Eads of the 6th Judicial District Community Corrections reviewed adult services work to revise a graduated responses and incentives handbook used by probation officers, and noted efforts to involve natural community supports in case planning. She said the agency seeks low‑cost incentives and sends handwritten letters to acknowledge client progress as one approach.

On juvenile services, Eads described regional training through a fidelity specialist funded by a collaboration with the 11th judicial district and work on YLS CMI risk‑needs assessments and EPIC tools for cognitive behavioral supports. Commissioners moved to approve both reports and voted unanimously.
