Planning board will host Environmental Associates’ Christine Bunyan for August water-quality session

A commission member said the planning board has invited Christine Bunyan of Environmental Associates to present on water quality at an August 18 session, and that the invitation will be forwarded to conservation commission members.

The presentation was framed as a follow-up to watershed-management planning and as part of the planning board’s effort to review possible regulatory amendments. A commission member said the session could help the town coordinate on enforcement and shoreland protections; the commission agreed to circulate the invitation and consider raising enforcement questions with the new code-enforcement officer.

The commission did not vote on regulatory changes at the meeting but recorded the invitation and asked the planning board to share materials in advance.
