Commissioners approve county respite care contract with Rosewood Healthcare Center

The Board of Commissioners approved a county contract with Rosewood Healthcare Center to provide in‑home personal care and respite to caregivers for Rosebud County residents aged 60 and older, effective July 1 through June 30, 2027.

The Chair read the contract purpose into the record: "The purpose of this contract is to provide in home personal care and respite to caregivers by performing the services in section 4 to individuals 60 years and older living in Rosebud County in need of caregiving services to meet their needs." The Chair also said the agreement includes a $500 deductible waiver with the hospital and that the provider would have 20 employees assigned to the program. Committee member moved the approval and the Chair seconded; the board voted to approve the contract.
