Board requires native plantings to meet prior landscaping condition

During new business the board reviewed a landscaping condition for a property where prior approvals required native species around a shoreline area. Members noted that some planted species were non‑native and discussed adding additional native plants to satisfy the condition.

The board agreed that adding juniper and blueberry plantings would address the concern; a motion to require three juniper and three blueberry plantings in the specified locations passed by voice vote. Board members said they will verify the plantings during inspection and record compliance in the file.
