Lake County school board approves minutes, consent agenda and three policies

The Lake County School Board voted to approve minutes from the July 7 workshop and executive session and the July 13 regular meeting, and it approved the consent agenda covering items 8.01 through 10.05. Superintendent recommendations for the minutes and consent agenda were presented and motions were moved and seconded; the board registered aye votes and reported a 3-0 outcome.

The board also took final action on three policies identified in the meeting as 6330, 6340 and (as read) 6,345. The superintendent recommended final approval of those policies and the board adopted them with no recorded opposition. The routine approvals were completed while the chair moved public input to the end of the meeting because one board member had to leave early.
