The Bedford City Council voted unanimously to approve its consent agenda, which included:
- Approval of the July 14, 2026 regular meeting minutes.
- A resolution authorizing the city manager to enter into an interlocal agreement with Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD and the cities of Hurst and Euless to establish the elementary school resource officer program for the 2026–27 school year (no fiscal impact to the city).
- A resolution authorizing an interlocal agreement for three junior-high/high-school SROs and updated reimbursement ($154,500 per officer; $463,500 total) paid by the school district.
- Receipt of the certified anticipated collection rate for the Tarrant County Tax Assessor-Collector.
- Receipt of the 2026 ad valorem tax roll for the Tarrant appraisal district as certified by Chief Appraiser Joe Don Bobbitt.
Councilmember Farco moved the approval; Councilmember Donovan Brandon seconded. The mayor called the vote and the motion passed unanimously.
