City IT reports equipment delays but expects security cameras by August

Craig Waldon of City IT presented an update on the library security camera upgrade, saying procurement challenges remain because of limited equipment availability. Waldon told the board he anticipates the remaining cameras will arrive by August and that he will return to a future meeting to demonstrate the installed system and its features.

Waldon's update did not include a firm installation schedule or cost details in the minutes. Board members were given notice of the procurement delay and the planned demonstration once installation is complete.
