Actions and scheduling: minutes approved; adjourned at 4:55 p.m.; next meeting Aug. 25

At its July 28, 2026 meeting the Cohoes Civil Service Commission took several routine procedural actions. Chair Sandy Bonkoski moved to approve the minutes of the June 22, 2026 meeting; Commissioner Nicole Wood seconded, and the minutes state the motion 'passed unanimously.'

The minutes also record a motion to certify Police Officer Exam #60056170 (moved by Sandy Bonkoski and seconded by Nicole Wood); the minutes do not include a roll-call vote or an explicit tally in the same segment. Under New Business the commission recorded an intent to update the residence requirement for an upcoming Fire Fighter exam but the minutes provide no detail about the proposed change. Chair Bonkoski moved to adjourn, Nicole Wood seconded, and the meeting adjourned at 4:55 p.m. The next monthly meeting is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 25, 2026; commissioners will be notified pending quorum calls.
