Seneca council discusses offering donated Dodge Durangos to municipalities before sale

The council discussed two Dodge Durango vehicles that had been donated to the Seneca Fire Department and reviewed options for disposal. Staff proposed first offering the vehicles to other municipalities through a state transfer website; if no municipality expressed interest, the city would then pursue sale and direct any proceeds to the Fire Department.

Councilors raised the options but took no formal action at the Feb. 10 meeting. The city did not set a timetable or sale price during the meeting; staff will follow up on whether other municipalities express interest via the state transfer process.
