During the hearing the Clerk identified the tax-sale purchaser as a person referred to as Scott Hamilton and noted the information on the sale is public. The Clerk said she "almost recall[s]" that Scott Hamilton might be the owner’s uncle and that a neighbor, Heather Allen, had once expressed interest in buying the parcel but "never could get hold of the lady."

Board members discussed the parcel’s small size (Clerk stated it is roughly 0.07 acres) and whether another trailer or a tiny house could be placed there within zoning and permitting constraints. Members noted that building on the footprint would require permits and compliance with setback and footprint rules; one board member said town rules would govern any new structure.
