Quapaw Business Committee approves slate of resolutions, donations and emergency polls

The Quapaw Nation Business Committee voted on a package of resolutions and related items during its March 21, 2026 meeting, approving measures that ranged from interagency memorandums to operational requests. The committee recorded affirmative votes on Resolutions 032126‑A through 032126‑L; most motions passed 7–0. Resolution 032126‑K (Consent to Access Property) recorded a 6–0 vote with one member absent. The committee also approved three $500 community donations and ratified two emergency electronic polls.

The items approved included: Resolution 032126‑A (approving a memorandum of understanding with 3 R K‑9 Search Foundation); 032126‑B (purchase request for marshals for virtual reality headsets); 032126‑C (signing of a support letter for Kendra Root); 032126‑D (sale of restricted interest in Chat, approved with amendment); 032126‑E (engagement with professional development services); 032126‑F (Saracen’s use of a revolving line of credit); 032126‑G and 032126‑H (public defender appointments); 032126‑I (renewal of right‑of‑way for a gas pipeline); 032126‑J (housing property repair purchase request); 032126‑K (consent to access property); and 032126‑L (amendment to Downstream Golf Club, LLC operating agreement). The three donations approved were $500 each for Commerce Days, First United Methodist Church backpack program, and Quapaw High School After Prom.
