The Commissioners Court approved several procurement and construction-related orders affecting county infrastructure and parks. The court authorized a $9,800 modification to Cobb Finley for supplemental right-of-way acquisition work tied to the County Road 400 realignment and approved a $558,156 expenditure to G.F.T. Infrastructure Inc. for construction engineering, inspection and material testing associated with road reconstruction for solar projects.
Separately, the court approved parks requests to use Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act (GOMESA) funds to purchase fish-stocking services (not to exceed $8,920) and awarded design services for an outdoor target range at parks headquarters for $241,381 using Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and Office of Conservation and Investment funding. The court also approved an agreement with 1st State Bank to share construction costs for the Manville Annex parking-lot connection (addresses given in the order); one commissioner said the connection would increase traffic and voted against the measure, which passed 3-1.
