Commissioner Moore described an agreement with Large Wood Development that would require the developer to post an escrow to cover potential damage from heavy construction equipment and to maintain the segment of Canyon Road 4074 in front of the development. The commissioner said the agreement reflects negotiations to protect the county's rock road from heavy-equipment damage; the court approved the arrangement.
"So he's agreeing to stay on 4074, which is rock... I told him if he'd put up an escrow amount for bringing in heavy excavators and stuff to cover any rock damage or any damage to the road. So he agreed to it," Commissioner Moore said. The court moved, seconded and approved the agreement by voice vote; staff will process the escrow and finalize the paperwork through the court.
