Select Board approves COA van driver hire, part‑time admin job description and routine minutes/warrants

The Select Board approved multiple personnel and administrative items on July 28. The board accepted a resignation from the library trustees and reappointed Christina Madsen to the Master Plan Implementation Committee. The board also approved hiring Brian Foy of Southampton as a COA van driver (part time, up to 18 hours per week) at $19.98 per hour; the COA director said the position’s driver training requirements are extensive and that the role is fully reimbursable under FRTA.

Members approved the second reading of a shared 16‑hour/week administrative assistant job description for the building and health departments and authorized posting/hiring steps. The board approved minutes for 05/26/2026 and 06/01/2026, and noted warrants covering June and July on the screen totaling $4,035,581.56 were made part of the public record.
