Environmental Health approves PWG claims and sets coordinator starting salary at $24/hour for FY27

Environmental Health Coordinator Lisa Bogran presented documents and updates to the board. The Private Well Grant (PWG) 1st Quarter Claims and the PWG Policy and Procedures were approved and a new PWG Intern Policy guide was noted. Lisa said the 2nd Quarter Progress Report would be submitted the next day and listed upcoming deadlines (Proof of Liability due end of January) and training opportunities staff may attend.

On salary and budget matters, the board discussed an 8% proposed increase. Members set the coordinator starting July 1 at $24 per hour. Denny Coon moved to approve the Environmental Health FY27 budget with that proposed salary; Connie Goldsmith seconded the motion and the board voted unanimously to approve the budget. The auditor will add line items to reflect expenses and revenue without increasing the overall budget.
