Beaux Arts Council to prioritize high-risk trees after canopy survey; fact sheet pulled from publication

Councilmember Paula Dix summarized trees identified by the Town Arborist as potentially needing attention and said limited funds have been consumed by storm damage in recent years. The council agreed to table detailed budget changes and asked Dix and Councilmember Stacy Saal to assign risk ratings and prioritize trees so the council can make informed budget decisions.

Planet Geo completed a King County tree canopy survey and offered to publish a Beaux Arts fact sheet. Councilmembers expressed concern that the Planet Geo results might conflict with prior reports and asked Planet Geo not to publish the fact sheet at this time.
