Planning staff says entitlements and general plan amendment coming to commission

Planning division staff provided a brief update at the July 28 meeting, telling commissioners the division is “very busy” with entitlement applications arriving as people plan transactions toward year-end and noting a number of items are expected between fall and spring.

Staff said long-range projects include a sustainable agricultural land grant-funded strategic plan. Staff also confirmed two items are already expected for the August 11 meeting, including a general plan amendment that was continued for that date. No formal votes were taken on these long-range items; staff provided the update for commission awareness and scheduling.
