Seneca council accepts Johnson Economics report funded by DLCD grant

City Manager Raamin Burrell presented the preliminary final Economic Opportunity Analysis prepared by Johnson Economics and paid for through a DLCD grant. Burrell said it is the "preliminary final copy" and recommended the council formally accept the findings and the recommended processes to pursue the report's goals.

Councilor Barbara Northington moved to accept the analysis and Councilor Melissa Pettyjohn seconded. The council voted unanimously: "All in favor, motion passed to accept the advice and findings of Johnson Economics." The council's acceptance signals staff may proceed with the report's recommended next steps; the report itself was not appended with specific new fiscal commitments at the July 9 meeting.
