Council approves Whitecourt Division preliminary plat with greenway easement

The Chair opened discussion on the Whitecourt Division preliminary plat and the council approved the proposal after staff outlined the plan. Staff member said City Crosswood is proposing a 2.88-acre subdivision with an 8-inch waterline extension and an easement the city would retain for access to the greenway and trails along the Little Ovid River. "Staff recommends approval of preliminary plat," the staff member said.

The Chair called for a motion and second; the motion passed after the Chair asked, "All those in favor, say aye," and the assembly responded. The approval clears the preliminary-plating step; no new driveway or sewer connections were reported as part of this item. The council did not attach additional conditions beyond the staff recommendation.
